Abstract: Inspirado en los hackatons propios de la Ingeniería Informática, encuentros cuyo objetivo es utilizar múltiples bases de datos disponibles para resolver de manera colaborativa los problemas “más difíciles” dentro de un proyecto, el taller Data4Peace −realizado del 10 al 12 de mayo de 2017− convocó a autoridades nacionales, regionales y locales (especialmente de las Zonas Veredales Transitorial de Normalización y municipios cercanos), y a académicos nacionales e internacionales con el fin de discutir los principales retos y oportunidades de la implementación del Acuerdo Final para la Terminación del Conflicto firmado entre el Gobierno colombiano y las FARC-EP. El taller se dividió en tres mesas temáticas de análisis y discusión: i) seguridad territorial; ii) desarme, desmovilización y reintegración; y iii) participación política. Este documento presenta las principales conclusiones y recomendaciones de política que surgieron del análisis y discusión entre los diversos actores en cada mesa de trabajo. ***** The Data4Peace workshop, held May 10-12 in 2017, and inspired by hackathons frequently undertaken within the disciplines of computer science and engineering to collaboratively solve difficult problems within a specified timeframe, brought together national, regional, and local governmental authorities (especially those located in and around the Transitional Zones where FARC-EP combatants are gathered to demobilize), as well as international and national academics. The goal of the workshop was to discuss the core challenges and opportunities related to the implementation of the final peace agreement signed between the FARC-EP and the Colombian government, and to produce concrete public policy recommendations based on solid primarily quantitative evidence. The workshop was divided into three thematic groups designed to optimize discussion and analysis: i) territorial security; ii) disarmament, demobilization, and reintegration; and iii) political participation. This document provides an overview of the principal conclusions and recommendations that emerged from these sessions, drawing upon the expertise of a diverse set of actors within each working group.
