Fondo para la Sostenibilidad Ambiental y el Desarrollo Rural Sostenible en zonas afectadas por el conflicto armado en Colombia

Abstract: Durante más de cinco décadas el conflicto armado en Colombia ha generado desigualdades en diversos territorios del país. Esto ha potenciado la división regional entre el campo y la ciudad, siendo principalmente los municipios rurales los más afectados históricamente por el conflicto y la ausencia del Estado, generando consigo unas condiciones económicas y sociales deplorables para la población civil, junto con un alto porcentaje de pobreza rural y economías ilícitas. Además, el intenso conflicto, la ilegalidad, los vacíos de gobernanza y la incapacidad de gestión territorial han aumentado los procesos de degradación ambiental y social poniendo en riesgos los servicios ecosistémicos, principalmente el agua, los suelos y la biodiversidad, así como la sustentabilidad económica de la población rural. For more than five decades, the armed conflict in Colombia has generated inequalities in various territories of the country. This has boosted the regional division between the countryside and the city, mainly the rural municipalities being the most historically affected by the conflict and the absence of the State, generating deplorable economic and social conditions for the civilian population, together with a high percentage of rural poverty and illicit economies. In addition, the intense conflict, illegality, governance gaps and the incapacity of territorial management have increased the processes of environmental and social degradation, putting at risk ecosystem services, mainly water, soils and biodiversity, as well as the economic sustainability of the rural population
