Present State and Perspectives of Financing for SME Sector in Kuyavian-Pomeranian

Abstract: Innovations of the SME’s sector drives the economy by generating half of GDP. Its advantage is the ease of response to the opportunities and threats from the environment. Barrier to rapid response may be limited by the lack their own financial resources. The article presents preferences enterprises of Kuyavian-Pomeranian in choosing the funding sources, determinants and barriers to obtaining resources and prospects for development of ways of financing future activities. Was presented the results of the analysis regarding the the changes in the availability of external measures for SMEs as a result of the economic crisis and their impact on the structure of financing and the search for alternative sources.
