Globalization vs. Growth and Development

Abstract: In the article is considered the correlation between globalization and growth or development in the world . The paper shows positive and negative aspects of this phenomenon. Particular attention is paid to the problem of development inequalities in the world and its connection with globalization. The author refers to the research done by K. Rybiński (2007 ) which analyses the impact of the level of globalization on the size of GDP and its growth rate. The new research is done in which time series are longer and new indicators are chosen in order to look at the topic of the article in a different way.
