Abstract:
The analysis included in this study started from two questions: how much is the involvement of vulnerable women in social economy organisations an alternative to reduce their risk of social exclusion? Can we speak of a “feminization” of the social economy in Romania? This study approaches the problem of women protection at the international and national level and analyses the data collected during the sociological survey from the project „INTEGRAT – resources for the socially excluded Roma women and groups”. We analysed both the potential of women participation, and their involvement in the surveyed social economy organisations.
