Updating of knowledge in the information society

Abstract: In the article it explores the using of information resources for updating of the knowledge and the enhancing of the educational activities motivation of the masters students of computer science and information technology at Lutsk NTU. In this regard, higher education has the task of developing effective technologies, forms and methods of learning that would significantly increase the level of students' motivational sphere. We determined that it is required lecturer's competence, professional orientation of educational activities, including electronic learning system for a positive enhancing of the motivation. Its content is also composed of electronic manuals for masters students, which, in our opinion, will increase the motivation to learn new knowledge. We analyzed the software tools that are used for creation of electronic didactic resources. It was found that the development of the personality motivational components are influenced by: the content of educational activity - novelty of the material, awareness of the value of the proposed educational material for the future professional activity; the organization of the educational process; the forms and methods of teaching. In order of the efficiency of the methodology of using innovative technologies in the formation of motivation for the study of masters students a pedagogical experiment was organized and conducted. During the experiment the general hypothesis was tested: the methodological substantiated use of the electronic manual in higher school educational work. Electronic educational resources, electronic social networks, presentations, etc. promote the formation of social motivation. The developed model will allow to increase the effectiveness of lecturers' activity in solving the identified problem and will help to improve the effectiveness of the educational process
