The influence of demographic and migration factors on the economic development of Ukraine in the post-war period

Abstract: The article summarizes the issue of studying the impact of demographic and migratory factors on economic development in the postwar period. The main purpose of the study is to study the impact of demographic and migratory factors on the economic development of Ukraine in the postwar period to focus on the need for timely development and implementation of state anti-crisis policy incentive type. Analysis of literature sources and approaches to solving the problem shows that in difficult economic conditions due to the war in our country requires a more thorough study of the impact of demographic and migratory factors on the economic development of our country. The urgency of solving this scientific problem is that to eliminate the negative effects of demographic and migration factors, it is important to study their impact on economic development, to further develop and implement anti-crisis measures, which is extremely important for Ukraine in martial law. The research is carried out in the following logical sequence: identification and study of the impact of major demographic and migratory factors on economic development, providing incentive recommendations to reduce the negative impact of these factors in the future. The object of the study is demographic and migration factors that affect the economy of Ukraine after the war. The study theoretically proves that demographic and migration factors have a significant negative impact on the economic development of Ukraine after the war, which will only intensify if we do not start implementing anti-crisis state policy in this area. The study revealed that the catastrophic consequences of the war for Ukraine are the loss of human potential, lower living standards, declining working population and imbalances in the labor market, increasing the burden on people of retirement age and more. The results of the study can be useful for developing a set of economic incentives for young families to increase fertility, businesses to create new jobs and increase wages, local authorities to create adequate housing for displaced persons and people returning to the devastated regions
