Abstract:
In the theory of logistics, there is a certain identification and unclear demarcation of the categories "logistics channel" and "logistics chain", which complicates applied research. The article substantiates the definition of the channel and the chain as stages of the evolutionary interconnected process of improvement of the logistic system, which has more applied content in the process of researching logistic systems than the consideration of these elements as parallel existing ones
