Abstract:
The article summarizes the experience of decentralization of power in a number of European countries, in particular in Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Poland. The possibilities of using their experience in Ukraine in solving such problems of decentralization as optimization of administrative-territorial division, determination of the scope of rights and powers of administrative units, financial decentralization, increase of efficiency of local self-government activities are determined
