Abstract: The article determines the importance and relevance of strategic planning for the development of domestic enterprises in a transformational economy. The essence and key periods of development of strategic planning, its features were considered. A strategic planning model in the form of a closed loop with a direct and an inverse relationship, which involves the passage of successive stages, each of which represents a logical sequence of measures and steps providing the dynamics of strategic development of the enterprise, was proposed
