Sustainable Tourism: Development of Educational Learning in Tourism Students

Abstract: Sustainable tourism is important for the development of educational learning in students, since it allows the formation of skills linked to the care of the environment and the tourist environment. The objective was to determine the relationship of sustainable tourism in the development of educational learning in the students of Tourism and Hospitality of the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional Francisco Morazán UPNFM headquarters Tegucigalpa academic period 2024. A quantitative, non-experimental, descriptive and correlational approach was used to obtain empirical data through a survey. The sample was considered of 143 students and it was evidenced that have a considerable positive relationship with a Spearman Rho coefficient of 0.858**, in addition, weaknesses were identified in the acquisition of competences in the design of sustainable tourist itineraries, practical activities to improve their understanding in these concepts, need to implement crisis simulation to develop practical skills to link them in the current curriculum that contribute all these actions to a sustainable student integration towards a sustainable commitment based on educational praxis that allows to assume reflexive and critical attitudes through pedagogical constructions through the teacher.
