Perception of Nursing Postgraduate Students on the eLearning Model

Abstract:
The objective of the study is to determine the perception of postgraduate students of the different specialties of the Nursing Career of the Nuestra Señora de la Asunción Catholic University, year 2022 about the "E-Learning Modality". The methodology: it is a field study, not experimental, with a qualitative and quantitative approach. Descriptive scope, crosssectional, the sampling is stratified probabilistic, the sample is made up of 111 participants. The interview was used as a technique and a validated questionnaire as an instrument, which was measured with the Likert scale, divided into five dimensions. Results: The perception of postgraduate students with respect to the application of the "E-Learning Methodology", have yielded highly satisfactory results in all the dimensions investigated. Dimension I: The respondents are mostly adults between 31 and 40 years old (55%), female (81.1%), the predominance of responses came from students of the Hospital Administration specialty (26.1%). Dimension II: Advantages and Disadvantages of the use of E-learning, 93.5% consider it advantageous and only 17.1% disadvantageous. Dimension III: The perspective of the use of E-learning has been found 88.8% satisfactory. Dimension IV: The perspective of E-learning and the Humanities were 95% satisfactory. Dimension V: The use of E-learning with respect to the face-to-face mode, 56.2% of the respondents prefer the virtual mode. With this, it is concluded that postgraduate students of the Nursing career of the Nuestra Señora de la Asunción Catholic University have a preference for the virtual modality and find greater advantages than disadvantages in its use.
