Abstract: The article is devoted to consideration of some of the main aspects of the process of formation and development of the platform economy in Russia. The activity of platform business ecosystems in Russia and abroad is shown, the main threats and risks arising in connection with the development of the platform economy are considered. The need for state regulation of the activities of platform business ecosystems is discussed.
