Analysis of regional differentiation by digital and innovation processes

Abstract: The article considers the problem of assessing the processes of digitalization in regional socio>economic systems. The formation of the approach to analysis was formed from the hypothesis of the continuity of two spheres: digitalization and science. The assessment tool was formed on the basis of objective statistical data presented in official statistics. As part of the work, indicators were formed designed to comprehensively describe both voiced areas. The approbation was carried out in the context of the subjects of the Central Federal District for the period 2014–2020. A graphical interpretation of the obtained results based on the construction of scattering diagrams was also proposed. As a result, aggregates of regions were identified according to the obtained values of the formed indicators.
