Abstract: In this article, author analyzes the current situation on the bond market in the field of responsible investment at the global and local levels, using the example of the Russian Federation. The practical basis for the definition and classification of ESG-bonds is considered. Events of recent years that have influenced creation and development of the green investment sector in the Russian financial market are described.
