Abstract: The paper discusses the issues of autonomization of rolling stock, the stages of its development, both over the past years and for the future years, as well as issues related to the use of autonomous transport, what is necessary for its use and how autonomous transport can be used from the point of view commercial use, and in the case of individual use.
