Abstract: In this article discusses the main functions of Central Banks, especially the functions ofthe Central Bank ofthe Russian Federation and its activities in relation to commercial banks. The statistics on non-cash payments in Russia and their structure are also given. Statistical data on liquidated credit institutions were reviewed.
