Abstract: The main types of innovative ideas in the regional innovation system are defined. The role of virtual technopark and other virtual elements of the innovation infrastructure in the region in realization of procedures for the selection of innovative ideas is considered. Managing the process of selection of innovative ideas will improve the effectiveness of innovation processes in the region.
