Abstract: The article describes the main directions of improving the competitiveness of the mining industry in Jordan through improved socio-economic conditions and prerequisites for innovative development of technological base of production. It is established that the growth of competitiveness of the mining industry of Jordan also contributes to attracting investment and improving the quality of human resources.
