Abstract: The article analyzes the theoretical and legal designation of health services in the health sector regulation. The basic reasons for the ambiguous interpretation of the term «medical care». On the basis of the study identified components of the medical services and its relationship with concepts such as health care and medical activities. The general and the distinctive features of these concepts, as well as their relationship in determining the health care facility regulation.
