Abstract:
The article substantiates the high degree of importance of information resources as a factor of sustainable development of a business entity. On the basis of consideration of various concepts it is established that incompleteness of information is a source of economic risks. The essence of the category «information risk» is studied. The possibilities, goals and objectives of business intelligence to overcome information asymmetry. A list of open and official sources, the use of which will minimize the risks of business cooperation with unscrupulous contractors, is proposed.
