Abstract: The article presents an analysis of various systems of payments in personal insurance, reveals their shortcomings, advantages and justifies the calculation methodology for the systems of extended coverage and average income. The terminology base has been clarified and the author's concepts on the establishment of insurance payments have been introduced.
