Digitalization of industrial enterprises: opportunities and threats of new reality

Abstract: The article presents the opportunities, risks, as well as changes in management practices arising in the framework of the digital transformation of industrial enterprises. Considered categorical-conceptual apparatus of the process of digitalization, presents the relationship and fundamental differences of the automation of digitalization of the enterprise. The main elements of the digital enterprise on the example of the chemical industry are shown. The system of influence of indicators of digitalization on system of indicators of work of the enterprise is presented. Special attention is paid to the strategy of digitalization of the chemical industry as a key element of effective digital transformation.
