Abstract:
The problem that arises is aimed at knowing the strategies that families and differential educators implement to support the learning of children with Specific Language Disorders (SLI) in times of pandemic. Being an important topic to investigate and discover if families are aware of educational strategies to support the learning process of their children. Therefore, this research is a case study carried out under the interpretive paradigm, framed in a qualitative approach, which aims to characterize the strategies used by families to provide support to their children diagnosed with SLI who attend school with a program. of integration, in times of pandemic in a school located in the commune of Villa Alemana. The instrument used in this research corresponds to a semi-structured interview, applied to the actors involved: Families and Differential Educator. Likewise, through the technique used, it is possible to visualize the different strategies that families implemented in times of pandemic for their children's learning in order to interpret this research. Finally, the pandemic has posed significant challenges to families and institutions that must take new measures to enter this new era. Therefore, it is conceivable that both the school and the family must cope with these difficulties, always seeking that the children advance and overcome educational need.
