Abstract:
This intervention plan is being implemented at the Santa Ana Institute in the city of Córdoba. The real need identified is the lack of training for teachers to carry out or provide personalised classes in large, heterogeneous classrooms. The overall objective is to train primary school teachers at the Santa Ana Institute to optimise personalised teaching in large, heterogeneous classrooms, offering alternative activities and mediating through the use of information and communication technologies. A plan of activities to be delivered in four weekly sessions is presented, including a series of digital programmes and applications that enable teachers to address the uniqueness of each student, working with tasks that encourage children to develop their abilities. Some of the activities include defining specific concepts related to the topic, such as inclusive education and heterogeneous classrooms; creating an e-portfolio to store and evaluate content; incorporating voice recording, Meta Demo Lab, Quiver, and Wordwall.net; teamwork; centre work; and incorporating the flipped classroom. The aim of this training is to enable teachers to apply the activities proposed here in their daily practice, to learn about and use digital applications that will allow them to positively modify their work and effectively address the diversity present in each grade.
