Abstract: The main objective of this article is (i) to make an inventory of the incentive measures and encouragement specific to the fisheries sector in Tunisia and (ii) to evaluate these incentives system. In our study, we have taken the case of the blue fish chain, which has access to a specific program for its development. First, the subsidies granted for the blue fish was carried out through an analysis of rules and political documents. After that, we have described the socio-economic role of the blue fish chain in the fisheries sector in Tunisia. The main results of the examination of these indicators will be used to identify the potential impact of these subsidies on the blue fish chain sustainability.
