Abstract: Existing studies have reviewed Angrey's work on the emancipation and liberation of women, men, their environment, and the existence of their communities. However, they have paid little attention to the resurrection of destiny that occurs during current periods of misguidance. Therefore, this study will examine the human fold through Angrey's work, The Exile of Greyan, with a view to establishing that the author revives the fate (destiny) that has been ruined by foreign religion and its impact on contemporary Africa. Two concepts, namely: Negritude and neo-historicism, were adopted as the theoretical framework, because modern literature weakens this fate, or at least, this religion depersonalizes Africa, and it would be wonderful to bring it back to the fold; while the descriptive method was used as the methodology. This study reveals that marriage and traditional religion, African perspectives on "the name," and Africa's belief in metaphysics are aspects of the fold. This article concludes that fate among Africans is true and better; also, according to African belief, success depends on ancestors. For those who believe in indigenous doctrine, Africans believe that there is no cause without effect; these are the cores of the return.
