The path of human life in the context of his bio-socio-spiritual unity: a socio-philosophical analysis

Abstract: Background. The article examines the issues of a person's way of life as a dynamic objective-subjective reality given to a person and formed by him (and/or others) under the influence of the natural, social and spiritual environment and being a part of being. At the same time, attention is drawn to the potential of social philosophy in the issue of adjusting the life scenario of an individual. In this regard, the increasing role of the subjective factor in modern conditions is emphasized. This is due to the fact that the impact of objective factors on humans is escalating. Because of this, modern people need to turn to social philosophy as a practical knowledge aimed at improving their individual life path. Purpose of this study is to provide a socio-philosophical interpretation of the human life journey in the context of a person’s bio-socio-spiritual unity. Materials and methods. The authors of the work rely on the methodological concepts of the "Trinity of man as a bio-socio-spiritual being" by S.A. Ermakov and the "Sociology of Life" by J.T. Toshchenko. The research mainly used general scientific methods: induction and deduction, historical and logical, analysis and synthesis, dialectical methods. Results. The following results were obtained in the course of the study: 1) the practical application of the possibilities of social philosophy in building the trajectory of a person's life path; 2) the path of life has a number of specific features: it is given to a person at birth; the development of the path of life unfolds in three layers, i.e. bodily, socio-economic, and spiritual-moral; the path of life is continuous, i.e. it is in constant dynamics a person's way of life has its own patterns, i.e. it is essentially unique; 3) spiritual and moral values that have passed the test of time are significant constants for a modern person, making it possible to positively choose a life path; 4) research on the path of human life and its activities should be done based on the methodological concept of the "Trinity of man as a bio-socio-spiritual being". A one-sided study of human activity in any one parameter leads to incomplete knowledge.
