Abstract:
The objective of this research project is to evaluate the effectiveness of the Comprehensive Health and Nutrition Care Program with Community Approach (PAISN) in reducing child malnutrition in Alta Guajira, in two phases: Phase 1: diagnosis of the current situation of child malnutrition in Alta Guajira. Phase 2: implementation of actions to strengthen (PAISN). In Phase 1, surveys and interviews with families and communities will be used, as well as a review of administrative records to identify the factors that contribute to child malnutrition in Alta Guajira. In phase 2, actions to strengthen the (PAISN) will be implemented in the following aspects: Integration of health, nutrition, education, basic sanitation and social development actions
