Study of propolis in dental treatments and materials

Abstract: This study is based on providing an updated vision of the use of propolis in dentistry. The main applications reported are in the area of medicine in situations of high-grade burns in surgeries. Currently in some countries, in the field of dentistry, it is used in situations of caries prevention, endodontics, periodontics, prosthetic dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery. Propolis has been shown to be effective in the dental field and has received special attention in recent years.
