Child and adolescent labor in the city of ventanas: reality and challenges in 2023

Abstract: The main purpose of this research is to analyze and determine the problem of labor exploitation of children and adolescents in the Ventanas canton during the year 2023. For this purpose, several methodologies were used to collect and structure the information in a practical and effective way. The analysis was developed from a critical and analytical perspective, using references from several authors detailed in the theoretical foundations. Based on the methods proposed, we sought to confirm the reality of this phenomenon in the social context of Ventanas. Finally, the research proposes measures to limit child labor exploitation, guaranteeing safe and healthy environments for children, in accordance with article 81 of the Organic Code of Childhood and Adolescence of Ecuador
