Abstract: Introduction: In the Manuel Fajardo Faculty of Medicine there is a science and technique management system that harmonizes its18 processes of the different health institutions and teaching departments of the faculty. During the year 2022 improvement courses were implemented, changes in the organization of the processes as well as the insertion of new professionals who acted as managers. Objective: to characterize the results of some science and technique management processes at the Manuel Fajardo Faculty of Medical Sciences (FCM MF) during the year 2022. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive observational study was carried out. The totality of the 17 health institutions that are methodologically subordinated to the faculty were taken into account as a universe. Six of the 18 processes of science and technology management were studied. Results: 257 scientific research projects were developed. 243 were innovation and development projects. Most of the projects were not associated with programs. Of these projects, 105 were clinical trials, standing out the institutes in their execution. A total of 220 scientific articles were published. More than 90% come from the institutes. 430 professionals have a scientific category. Conclusions: favorable interventions have been developed through professional improvement to make a qualitative leap in science and technology management processes, however, they are still not enough if the scientific potential of the institutions is taken into account.
