Abstract: Introduction: In Cuba, where it is high-priority the Primary Attention of Health, you intenciona a system of permanent superación directed to the professionals to guarantee the quality of the service of health, from this perspective, the concept superación of the primary attention of health is identified many times with training, formation and development. Objective: to elaborate a strategy that contributes to the improvement of the process of professional superación on Natural and Traditional Medicine in the Primary Attention of Health that allows the specialist's efficient acting in Family Medicine in the Policlínico University Siblings Cruz of Pinegrove of the River. Methods: the investigation was sustained in the materialistic dialectical focus that bases the study of the object like process, and that it allowed to deepen in the knowledge of the object and its interrelations under the social historical conditions of the graduate degree education it has more than enough Natural and Traditional Medicine in the specialist in Family Medicine, to reveal its main contradictions, to select, to base and to integrate the theoretical, empiric and statistical methods. The selected variable is process of professional superación on Natural and Traditional Medicine. Results: the strategy of professional superación is presented on Natural and Traditional Medicine in the primary attention of health with base in the theoretical and empiric derivations of the investigative process and starting from foundations sustained in different areas of the knowledge, they intend the structure, characteristics, components and relationships for the process in study and its theoretical validation. Conclusions: in the strategy of professional superación on Natural and Traditional Medicine in the primary attention of health the purposes were summed up to achieve the specialist's efficient acting in Family Medicine, in the transformation of the reality in the area of health of the Policlínico University Siblings Cruz of Pinegrove of the River
