Abstract:
The use of social media influencers has significantly transformed the promotion of dental products. These trendsetters, without dental training, disseminate information and recommend products that can have adverse effects on the oral health of their followers. In Argentina, the problem of intrusiveness in the dental profession has grown with the popularity of different platforms such as TikTok. This recent and understudied phenomenon poses significant risks to public health and the integrity of the dental profession
