Abstract: Introduction: Accidents at home in older adults have a biopsychosocial repercussion, affecting their quality of life, and influencing the health of the elderly due to the dependency action; and the family repercussion that the same can have must also be taken into account. Objective: To modify the level of knowledge about accidents at home in older adults belonging to the San Juan y Martínez grandparents' home. Materials and Methods: An educational intervention was carried out between September and November 2023. The universe was constituted by the 50 older adults of the grandparents' home. The sample consisted of 42 grandparents who met the inclusion criteria. The study was carried out in three stages: diagnosis, intervention and evaluation. A survey was applied to them to qualify the level of knowledge in the first stage, then a program of classes was developed, constituting the second stage, and finally the same survey was applied again to evaluate the modification of knowledge after the intervention was concluded, this being the third stage. The results obtained were entered into statistical tables and processed using descriptive statistical techniques. Results: 100% of the elderly were qualified with adequate knowledge at the end of the intervention. Conclusions: After applying the intervention, there was a significant increase in the knowledge of the elderly of the grandparents' home about accidents in the home, so the intervention was considered effective
