Health Leadership and Quality of Life, 2024, vol. 3, .567

Abstract: Human rights have been studied, establishing their definition, background and the need to promote their promotion in the current context, because despite having been recognized in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948) and what has been achieved in this sense, they are manifest situations that show its violation in different parts of the world; For this reason, the objective has been set: to analyze, from the foundations provided by the sources consulted, reflections on human rights and their promotion in the current context. Research methods at the theoretical and empirical levels were applied to analyze the information obtained from the sources consulted and draw conclusions. The results emanating from the documentary research carried out indicate that human rights are essential for all people, they entail ideas related to equality among all, they constitute the fundamental basis for harmonious coexistence and a dignified life. It is concluded that it is necessary to carry out actions to promote human rights, since despite what has been achieved on this issue, situations still arise that show their violation; It is necessary for society to know what rights are recognized and how their respect can be demanded; This aspiration continues to be a goal to be achieved in different parts of the world
