Management (Montevideo), 2024, vol. 2, 106

Abstract: Introduction: the study addressed organizational behavior at the Pasto headquarters of the financial institution Bancamía, with the objective of identifying the factors that affected operational efficiency, customer satisfaction and profitability. Variables such as staff turnover, motivation, organizational communication, stress and internal culture were considered, given their direct implications on institutional performance. Development: during the research, international antecedents that demonstrated the influence of work climate, incentives and stress on organizational behavior were analyzed. It was shown that staff turnover generated economic losses and affected the quality of service. In addition, poor internal communication was identified as an obstacle to effective coordination between areas. Motivation and incentives, both monetary and non-monetary, influenced work commitment, while work stress had a direct impact on employee effectiveness. The theoretical analysis allowed understanding these variables from a systemic approach, considering their interaction with internal and external factors. Conclusions: the research concluded that organizational behavior management should focus on strengthening human talent, through strategies that promote well-being, effective communication and motivation. It highlighted the need for an integral approach that considers the collaborator as the fundamental axis of productivity, in order to consolidate a healthy work environment oriented to institutional objectives.
