AHMAD AL-YAMANI’S WORK "WAFK AL-MURAD" IN THE SYSTEM OF DAGESTAN ARABIC-LANGUAGE LITERATURE

Abstract: The aim of the study is to identify the prerequisites and peculiarities of the inter-influence of "Wafk al-murad fi ma yahtaj ilayhi al-'ibad" ("The correspondence to the desired subject, which the God’s servant needs"), the work of the well-known Muslim jurist of the 15th century, Sheikh Ahmad al-Yamani with the Dagestan Arabic-language literature and with the development of Islam in Dagestan in general.Methods. Comparative historical, juxtaposition, observation and description, studying the original scripts of Arabic-language literature, analysis, translation.Results. The author considers and researcheas the features of Ahmad al-Yamani's work "Wafk-al-murad" and its general features with the works of other authors of Dagestan and Oriental Arabic-language literature. For the first time in this paper the abridged presentation of each section of "Wafk al-murad" work in Russian translation is given.Conclusions. The appeal to the study of Ahmad al-Yamani's work allows showing the significance of the Arabic-language literature in forming the Muslim legal sense among the Dagestan peoples then.
