MYTHOLOGICAL ERA IN EVENKS’ AND EVENS’ EPICS

Abstract:
The author of the article makes an attempt of the analysis of the relationship between Evenks’ and Evens’ genre of myth and epos.Methods. The idea of the ancient mythological era, formed in the narratives about the creation of the world, is reflected in Northern Tungus’ legends.Results. In the beginning of the Evenks’ epics the mythological era is drawn as the blossom beginning.Conclusions. The beginning of some Evenks’ tales also contains the wording of mythological time, in the other ones it appears to be the Golden era.
