MYTHOLOGIC VISUALIZATION IN ABDULZAGIR MUSAEV’S PAINTINGS FOR THE HALL OF FAME IN THE RESIDENCE OF THE HEAD OF THE REPUBLIC OF INGUSHETIA

Abstract: The aim is studying the peculiarities of the Ingush mythological visualization in paintings, created in 2015-2016 by Abdulzagir Musaev, the artist from Dagestan for the Hall of Fame in the Residence of the Head of the Republic of Ingushetia in Magas. The article contents some mythological stories. The author analyzes the unique style of the artist’s language in the process of visualizing the verbal texts of Ingush myths. It has a description of the entire complex paintings. She reveals A. Musaev’s deep penetration into the essence of indigenous spiritual and religious traditions of the Ingush people as one of the unique ethnic groups of the North Caucasus.Methods: comparative-historical, comparative-typological, analytical ones and descriptive methods. When analyzing paintings, a formal-stylistic method was used.Results. Studying the visualizing ways of Ingush folkloric mythological representations has shown that the myth often becomes the basis for the imagery of the contemporary artists’ works.Conclusions. A. Musaev’s paintings for the Hall of Fame in the Residence of the Head of the Republic of Ingushetia show the artist’s deep penetration o into the essence and specificity of the Ingush myth and the Nart epic. The author of the article proves, that Musaev applied a new system of form-building, creating a unique complex of works, based on the ancient peoples’ world artistic experience.Â
