Abstract: Aim. The article deals with the judgment of publicistic F. M. Dostoyevsky’s activity in the "Vremya" journal.Methods. The description, the generalization and the analysis of the studied material.Results. The author of article proves that Dostoyevsky wants to create with the help magazine "Vremya" a new public current, it is called "nativism", representatives of wich would occupy an average position between Slovophiles and Westerners.Conclusions. The writer didn't want to stay away from political and puplic life of Russia. He tries to help the homeland somehow. And as the main weapon in this case choses a feather and ink.Â
