POET’S REQUIEM FOR A PERSON LEAVING THE GREAT WORLD

M. M. Kurbanov ()

Dagestan State Pedagogical University. Journal. Social and Humanitarian Sciences, 2018

Abstract:  The aim of the article is the study of the creative heritage of the last decades of Shamil Kaziev, the Tabasaran poet. Methods: comparative-analytical and textual. Materials: poems of 90s of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century.Summary. Poems are realistic. The poet perceived the beginning of capitalism as the destruction of the mountaineers’ age-old way of life with the loss of morality and spirituality. The poet's pessimism increases towards the end of his life, and he empathizes with the mountaineers, philosophically thinking about the unknown future. Particularly impressive poem is "Inevitable meeting", reminiscent of the requiem for the poet leaving the great world.Â
