THE CERTAIN ASPECT OF THE ECONOMIC HISTORY OF POST-SOVIET RUSSIA: BITCOIN AND ITS THREAT TO THE NATIONAL SECURITY

Abstract: The aim is the need to prove that bitcoin, as a cryptocurrency, is not provided with any material property expression, contributes to undermining the financial security of our country, and, therefore, should be prohibited by law.Methods. The main principles and approaches of social dialectics were used in the course of the research.Results. Based on the analysis of sources on national security, it is concluded that unsecured virtual funds should not be allowed into the civil turnover of our country, which would be in the interests of ensuring its financial security.Conclusion. Based on the historical experience of cash issue in all countries of the modern world, it is proved that for legalization in the modern financial market of any currency, it is necessary to know its issuer, as well as the aspect related to the property, material security.Â
