Specifics of Implementing the “Sympathy†Category in Everyday Russian and Lezghin Speech

Abstract: The aim of the article is identifying the ways and means of expressing the sympathy in the text.Methods. Comparative, descriptive, and component analysis method.Results. The authors found out that the "sympathy" concept both in the Lezghin language and in Russian is expressed by well-established means characteristic for the ritual discourse. As a result of the analysis, the authors came to conclusion that the display of the "sympathy" category, as well as "compassion" in the associated languages is implemented in an ingrained way:by means of actions and a template.
