The Lak Religious Vocabulary and Phraseology

Abstract: Aim. To study the cultural and expressive aspect of using the Lak lexical and phraseological units, to identify the specifics of their implementation in speech.Methods. Comparison, description. Results. The authors analyze the peculiarity of the conceptual and information criteria of religious linguistic units, the impact of the religious way of life on them; determine the structural and semantic space of the Lak religious lexical units functioning, represented by semantic groups.Conclusion. Lexical and phraseological units with the meaning of religiosity are described as a consequence of the attributive modification of the language elements from the standpoint of their cognitive and cultural conditioning; the nature of speech-making activity of society in the implementation of a religious word as an emotionally expressive unit contributes to its allocation, distribution, followed by lexicographical description.Conclusion. Methods of displaying phenomena of surrounding reality in the human consciousness reveal the correlation of specific language units implemented in the process of communication with the mental potential of society.
