The Content Issue of Teaching Russian to the English-Speaking Audience

Abstract:
Aim. The article focuses on the most important aspects of the category of the content of teaching Russian as a foreign language, considered in the context of professionally oriented education.Methods. Cognitive-generalizing (analysis and synthesis of literature on the problem under research).Results. The material used at the Russian lessons for English-speaking students should have the following standards: relevance, accessibility, interest, simplicity.Conclusions. The methodological component of teaching any language as a foreign one is in using the various methods, in particular, innovative and up-to-date language study means.
