Tabasaran and Russian Coordinating Conjunctions

Abstract: The aim of the article is researching the history of the studying of Tabasaran and Russian coordinating conjunctions, determining their thematic composition, identifying their meaning, the nature of syntactic relations, functionality and productivity in use.Methods: comparative-typological, descriptive, structural-semantic analysis.Results. The features of functioning and using the coordinative conjunctions in the Tabasaran language in comparison with Russian are considered, copulative, adversative and delimiting un-ions are given.Conclusions. Typological and comparative study of two languages of different structure allows to reveal the specific features of the compositional unions in the compared languages.
