Abstract:
Aim. The article discusses the patterns of association of words in Russian as a foreign language.Methods. Considering that from the point of view of psycholinguistics, paradigmatic and syntagmatic associations differ in language, it is in speech activity that associativity is manifested most clearly and should be used in the development of techniques and ways of learning a language as a means of communication.Results. The authors tried to analyze the significance of the associative functional-thematic field defining the vocabulary system and its structure.Conclusions. Learning a foreign language based on associativity allows to recreate the natural conditions of language learning.
