Contrastive Analysis of Sentence Types According to the Sentence Function in the Avar and the Lezghin Languages

Abstract: Aim. The purpose of the study is to analyze the types of sentences on the purpose of statements in the Avar and Lezgin languages.Methods. Structural and descriptive, comparison, analysis, synthesis.Results. Identified types of sentences for the purpose of the utterance. It is established that the sentence is characterized by intonational completeness, which is transmitted by a dot, question mark or exclamation mark in the letter. A comparative analysis of the types of sentences on the statement of the statement in the Avar and Lezgin languages.Conclusions. Exclamation intonation is transmitted by emotionally colored sen-tences. Emotional coloring can have narrative, interrogative and motivating sentences.
