Abstract:
Global trade volume has experienced significant increases with accelerating globalization process as of late 1970s. This study examines the impact of trade openness and economic growth on the environmental pollution in 20 emerging market economies during 1995-2011 period by using panel regression method and we found that both trade openness and economic growth had positive impact on the environmental pollution.
